Sri Lanka, July 25 -- Two Sri Lankans arrested while attempting to illegally enter Dhanushkodi, India by boat are suspected to be involved in a shooting that occurred last Thursday in the Wattala area.

Those arrested were identified as two residents of the Wattala area, aged 30 and 34.

One of the suspects was identified as Ganeshan Vigneshwaran from the Hendala area in Wattala, while the other was identified as Maheswaran Lusinath, a resident of the Aweriwatta area in Wattala.

The Coast Guard of that country arrested them yesterday (24).

The arrest was made while they arrived in Dhanushkodi illegally by boat from Sri Lanka.
