Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has submitted recommendations to the Constitutional Council to appoint High Court Judges Navaratne Marasinghe and Manjula Tilakaratne as Judges of the Court of Appeal, according to the President's Media Division.

The President's Media Division stated that the proposals for these appointments have now been formally forwarded to the Constitutional Council for approval.
