Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today (17) ordered a foreign travel ban on ten Sri Lankan athletes who allegedly failed to return to the country after attending the 2022 Commonwealth Games, causing a loss of nearly Rs. 50 million to the government.

The Special Investigations Unit on Prevention of Sports Offenses informed the court that they also intend to issue Interpol Red Notices for the ten suspects involved in the incident.
