Sri Lanka, July 23 -- A total of 118,935 foreign tourists arrived in the country during the first 19 days of this month.

Accordingly, the total number of tourists who arrived in the year up to now is 1,265,508, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority announced.

The majority of tourists who arrived within the first 19 days are Indians.
