Sri Lanka, July 14 -- Six printer toners, valued at over Rs.283,200 have gone missing from a store in the accounts division of the National Police Commission.
Cinnamon Garden Police are investigating the incident.
The Commission's management services officer filed a complaint with the police. According to the complaint, eight toners were obtained May 9, but only one was officially issued.
During a subsequent inspection, nine opened toners of a different type were found in a cardboard box on the Commission's premises.
Police stated that these had not been properly issued according to store records.
Each missing toner is valued at Rs.47,200.
