Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Nawagamuwa Police have discovered a cache of firearms hidden under a tree in the Thunandhahena area of Korathota, Kaduwela.

The weapons found include:

Three T-56 assault rifles

Five Browning pistols

One magazine

The firearms have been handed over to the Nawagamuwa Police Station, which is conducting further investigations.
