Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- The Fort Magistrate's Court ordered the release on bail of three individuals arrested for obstructing police duties and unlawfully operating sound amplification equipment near the Presidential Secretariat.

Colpetty police officers carried out the raid at around 10:00 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. last night (15) near the entrance of the One Galle Face complex within the Fort police division, arresting the suspects along with production items for operating loudspeakers without a valid permit as members of an unlawful assembly.

Those arrested include a 61-year-old resident of Panchikawatta Road, Colombo 10, and a 38-year-old resident of Hapugastenna, Helamada.
