Sri Lanka, Aug. 21 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has given its approval for the awarding of three construction contracts for the Central Expressway Project.

The contracts relate to the first part of Phase Three, which runs from Pothuhera to Galagedara.

The Ministry of Highways has stated that based on the current schedule, the Pothuhera to Rambukkana section is anticipated to be ready for public use within the next 20 months.
