Sri Lanka, May 3 -- A school teacher's body, which was found on the Calido beach area in Kalutara South, has been identified by her relatives, according to Kalutara South Police.

The deceased's husband and mother identified the body yesterday (02) after arriving at the Nagoda Hospital in Kalutara, police said.

The victim has been identified as a 41-year-old mother of one, residing in Vidiyagoda, Kanattagoda in Bandaragama, named Nadeeshani Tharangika Amaranayake.

Police stated that investigations began after an anonymous phone call reported a female body found along the Calido coastal area on the 1st of the month.

Preliminary investigations suggest that she had left her home on the night of April 30 following a family dispute.
