Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- Another suspect was named in connection with the deaths of 32 individuals in the Negombo prison clash. The suspect was named as the 32nd suspect in the case and was produced before the court today (11).

The Criminal Investigation Department sought permission from the court to name another suspect in connection with the deaths of 32 individuals in the Negombo prison clash.

According to CID information the suspect was inside the prison at the time of the incident and later went home on bail. The officers have told the court that the suspect went into hiding and was arrested following investigations.
