Sri Lanka, July 27 -- the man alleged to have driven the motorcycle in two recent shootings in the Dehiwala Mount Lavinia area, one at the Nisala Sewana Cemetery and the other in Temple Road, was arrested by the Western Province South Division Crime Bureau.

The suspect, a 25-year-old resident of the Attidiya area, was also found in possession of the drug known as "ICE."

Police say the two shootings were directed by an alleged organised drug trafficker known as Badowita Awishka, who, according to the suspect's own admission, paid him Rs.200,000 to ferry the gunmen to and from the scenes.
