Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- A man who allegedly abused several police officers on duty for the Kandy Esala procession in foul language, behaved turbulently, and obstructed the officers' duties was arrested, Kandy Police say.

Police state that this individual hurled foul language at police officers on duty in front of the main entrance entering the Temple of the Tooth Relic premises today (23) in this manner.

Accordingly, the relevant suspect was arrested, and Police further stated that necessary future legal action regarding the suspect will be taken.
