Sri Lankan student selected for ShakthiSAT space mission
Sri Lanka, July 28 -- Eighteen-year-old student Seneesa Goonewardena will represent Sri Lanka at the ShakthiSAT International Mission, securing a notable milestone for the nation on the global stage.
The selection followed a rigorous process involving two hundred Sri Lankan students who received specialized training through the national STEM education program. The Ministry of Digital Economy noted that this achievement offers the country a platform to display young scientific talent in advanced space technology.
