Sri Lanka, July 27 -- The number of tourists visiting Sri Lanka in 2025 has surpassed the 1.3 million mark.

According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, a total of 1,313,232 foreign tourists have visited the country so far this year.

Data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority also indicates that 145,188 tourists have arrived in the country so far in July.

Of these, 27,786 tourists, accounting for 19.1%, have arrived from India.
