Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- During the current month, a total of 126,379 foreign tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka, the Tourism Development Authority reported. Among these visitors, the largest group came from India, numbering 37,179.

In addition to India, significant numbers of tourists have arrived from the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, China, France, and Spain, contributing to the growth in visitor arrivals.

According to the Tourism Development Authority, the total number of foreign tourists arriving in Sri Lanka so far this year has reached 1,692,902, reflecting a steady recovery in the country's tourism sector.
