Sri Lanka to roll out major transport projects by 2028
Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Sri Lanka is ready to implement several new transport infrastructure projects in the country over the next two to three years, Deputy Minister of Transport Prasanna Gunasena states.
He stated this in a statement in parliament.
He mentioned that these projects will be implemented following the review of capital expenditure, economic outcomes, and environmental impacts in line with the national development plan.
Feasibility studies and evidence-based reports required to expand sectors such as the Railway Department were obtained, the Deputy Minister said.
