Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- Sri Lanka intends to expand the export of high-quality marine products, including tuna, prawns, and crabs, to the Russian market, according to Minister of Fisheries Ramalingam Chandrasekar.

The statement was made during a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan S. Dzhagaryan at the ministry.

Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in fisheries, maritime trade, and economic relations.

Enhancing market access for local seafood products within the Russian market was also discussed.
