Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Special attention was focused on executing the death penalty for drug-related crimes during the "Ratama Ekata" National Operations Council, as the toxic drug menace went beyond mere individual concepts and became a severe threat to the entire national economy, tourism industry, and social ethics system.

This was extensively discussed during the meeting of the "Ratama Ekata" National Operations Council held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (10) morning, the Presidential Media Division announced.
