Sri Lanka, Aug. 9 -- The Sri Lankan government has expressed deep concern over Israel's decision to seize control of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism said the move could further escalate violence and worsen the suffering of the people in the area.
Sri Lanka called for an immediate ceasefire and urged all parties to resolve their differences through diplomatic dialogue to establish a sustainable peace.
