Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that Sri Lanka is committed to improving the rights and well-being of women and girls, protecting their right to dignity and equality, and translating existing principles into practical action.

She made these remarks today (13), while attending the opening ceremony of the 2025 Global Leaders' Summit on Women at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing, following an invitation from the Government of the People's Republic of China.
