Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, Arun Hemachandra, stated that Sri Lanka is creating the necessary space for international recognition through a competitive economy.

He made this statement while participating as the Chief Guest at the "Top German Brands in Sri Lanka - 11th Edition" event held at the Cinnamon Life Hotel on September 25.

Delivering the keynote address, the Minister emphasized that under the leadership of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the government is building an environment for a competitive economy to gain international acceptance and will provide continuous support to companies that are currently operating in Sri Lanka.
