Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- The Government of Sri Lanka has signed agreements with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to mobilize a USD 100 million loan and an externally financed grant of USD 6.9 million from the Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response Trust Fund (Pandemic Fund) for the implementation of the Strengthening Integrated Health Care and Governance for Universal Health Coverage Program under the results-based lending modality.

The USD 100 million loan, extended under ADB's Regular Ordinary Capital Resources, will support Sri Lanka's national strategic framework for developing health services aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of secondary healthcare as part of achieving universal health coverage.
