Special dengue control operation begins in Western Province
Sri Lanka, July 5 -- A special dengue control operation commences today (05) across 22 high-risk zones in the Western Province.
Health authorities, the tri-forces, police, state institutions, and volunteer organisations are participating in this initiative.
The operation targets nine medical officer of health (MOH) divisions in the Colombo District, including Maharagama, Kaduwela, Homagama, Gotatuwa, Battaramulla, Piliyandala, and three zones within the Colombo Municipal Council.
