Sri Lanka, July 14 -- A mother and father were fatally attacked with a sharp weapon by their son in the Kiralawelkatuwa area in Embilipitiya.

Police stated that the attack took place last night (13) due to a personal dispute.

A 54-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man lost their lives in the incident.

The 26-year-old son who carried out the attack surrendered to the Embilipitiya Police.
