Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- Several youth organisations have organised a protest in Colombo today against the alleged politicisation of the Youth Club Federation.

Leaders from various youth associations have accused the current government of attempting to politicise the youth clubs.

During yesterday's Cabinet briefing, journalists questioned Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa about the politicisation of the youth clubs.
