Sri Lanka, Oct. 20 -- Central Province Governor suspended the powers of Pathahewaheta Pradeshiya Sabha, which was under the control of Samagi Jana Balawegaya, by issuing a special gazette notification.

This suspension came into effect yesterday (19).
