Sri Lanka, Oct. 4 -- Six suspects arrested during a protest march organised by the Frontline Socialist Party and the People's Struggle Movement were granted bail after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today (04).

The protest was organised yesterday (03) against the government's tax policy and the rapidly rising cost of living.

They were arrested on charges of unlawful assembly and using loudspeakers without prior permission.
