Sri Lanka, July 21 -- Firefighting trucks are deployed to control a fire that broke out at a helmet manufacturing factory in the Katuwana Industrial Zone in Homagama, the Fire Service Department states.

Accordingly, six fire trucks from the Kotte and Dehiwala Municipal Councils are deployed, according to reports.

Residents of the area state that the entire area is covered in black smoke due to the fire.
