Sri Lanka, Sept. 10 -- Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has announced in Parliament that the month of September has been designated as "Digital Economy Month."
This national initiative is aimed at accelerating Sri Lanka's journey to becoming a digitally empowered nation.
The Prime Minister stated that a key goal of this initiative is to create public enthusiasm for digitalization and to highlight the government's commitment to building a future digital economy.
Throughout September, a series of programs will be implemented to achieve these objectives.
These programs will focus on educating citizens, businesses, and institutions about the importance of using digital tools.
