Sri Lanka, June 17 -- Suresh Sallay is highly unlikely to face any threat to his life, says National People's Power Member of Parliament Dewananda Suraweera.

The Member of Parliament stated this while replying to a question asked by journalists on whether there is a risk to Sallay's life.

The MP stated that enforcing the law against the Easter attackers is a demand of society, and the government is executing that task.

MP Suraweera further mentioned that personal vendettas or political retribution are not applied when enforcing the law in such a manner.
