Sri Lanka, March 8 -- The Leader of the Opposition in Sri Lanka, Sajith Premadasa, has urged the international community to prioritise peace and stability to safeguard global prosperity.
Speaking to foreign media, Mr Premadasa emphasised that the peaceful resolution of disputes must remain the global norm. He called for an urgent ceasefire and a shift from armed conflict toward formal negotiations.
The Opposition Leader warned that the continuation of "asymmetric warfare" poses a significant threat to the national interests of all countries. He stressed that progress for mankind is only achievable through a collective commitment to stability.
