Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- A temporary removal of the foreign travel ban on former State Minister of Trade and Environment S. Viyalendran was ordered today (17) by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama. To facilitate this, the Magistrate also mandated an additional personal bail from a close relative.
The travel restriction is lifted from February 28 to March 31. The court further directed the guarantor appearing for the suspect to surrender their own passport to judicial custody.
