Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- The government will submit all modules related to religious affairs under the new education and curriculum reforms to be implemented from January 2026 to the relevant religious committees for review.

This was announced in Parliament by the Minister of Education and Prime Minister, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The Prime Minister made the statement while responding to a question raised by Member of Parliament S. Sridharan.

Dr. Amarasuriya further addressed concerns regarding the historical content within the new curriculum's history subject.
