Public trust in government may decline, Dinana Dakuna warns
Sri Lanka, July 16 -- The current government is intoxicated by dictatorial tools, and this public opinion reflects a betrayal of democratic aspirations, the Dinana Dakuna organisation says.
The organisation mentioned this by issuing a special press release today (16) regarding the "Social Indicator" poll data recently released by the Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA).
It was revealed here that the public granted a grace period to the government at present because they continue to maintain trust in a government they elected themselves.
They point out that the "Social Indicator" poll data reflects that the trust expressed in this manner is based on the expectation of increasing the systematic efficiency of the government.
