Sri Lanka, June 22 -- A discussion regarding facilities for children to give evidence through video technology for cases involving children, the Children and Young Persons Ordinance, and expediting such cases, took place today (22) at the Ministry of Justice.

Justice and National Integration Minister Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara and a group of United Nations representatives held the discussion.

Attention focused on providing video technology facilities for children to give evidence in cases involving children, the Children and Young Persons Ordinance, and expediting legal proceedings related to children.
