Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that the government's aim is to strengthen the country's economic stability by developing vocational education. She made the remarks during a media briefing at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, on August 13.

The briefing was held regarding the upcoming Sri Lanka Skills Expo 2025, which will be held for the third time on October 10 and 11 at the main hall of Temple Trees.

The exhibition, jointly organised by the Industry Sector Skills Councils (ISSC) and the Ministry of Education, aims to reduce youth unemployment.
