Sri Lanka, Oct. 11 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to undertake high-level visits to China and India.

At the invitation of the Chinese Government, the Prime Minister will visit China from tomorrow to October 15.

During her visit to Beijing, Dr. Amarasuriya is scheduled to deliver a speech at the "Global Leaders' Meeting on Women", an event jointly organised by China and UN Women.

She will also hold several high-level bilateral meetings, including with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.

Following the conclusion of her engagements in China, the Prime Minister will proceed to India.

While there, she is scheduled to attend the NDTV World Summit from October 17 to 18.
