Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake left the island a short while ago to attend the 2026 AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi, India.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to officially inaugurate the five-day event.
The summit primarily aims to announce a "Shared Global Roadmap" for the governance and cooperation of Artificial Intelligence.
High-level state leaders expect to participate in the sessions, which continue until the 20th of this month.
Global figures, including Brazilian President Lula da Silva, French President Emmanuel Macron, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, represent 20 nations alongside ministers from over 45 countries.
