Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- 300 Pradeshiya Sabha members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Eksath Peramuna have been summoned to Colombo this Saturday (16) for a special discussion.

The meeting will be held at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party headquarters on Darley Road and will be chaired by the leader of the Sri Lanka Podujana Eksath Peramuna, former Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa.

The agenda for the meeting reportedly includes measures to be taken in local government institutions for the public, the current political situation, and other future political strategies.

It is also reported that several former ministers, in addition to Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, are scheduled to attend the event.
