Sri Lanka, March 17 -- Power cuts have not been implemented despite the ongoing fuel crisis, though such a measure might be necessary in the future, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody stated.

The supply is currently maintained without a single hour of power disconnection, the Minister mentioned while responding to a question raised by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in Parliament today. However, a period may arrive where implementing power cuts becomes unavoidable, he added.
