Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- Popular rapper Madava Prasad, known as "Madhuwa," has been arrested with a fake pistol and a quantity of drugs, according to the Kahaudwa Police. The arrest of the 26-year-old came after a police investigation into a video that had gone viral on social media. The video reportedly showed a group of six people with drugs and a pistol on a glass table.

During the raid at his residence in the Mount Clifford housing complex in Homagama, police seized the fake pistol, 20 milligrams of "ice," and 35 grams of hashish.
