Sri Lanka, July 19 -- A suspect sustained injuries during a shooting carried out by police officers conducting a drug raid.

The shooting occurred during a raid in the Bokundara Weerasinghe Mawatha area in Piliyandala.

Another suspect fled during the incident, the Police Media Spokesperson stated.
