Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- Police say 28 children and 118 women have been sexually abused so far this year after being deceived online.

According to Police Media Spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wootler, a further 15 children and 375 women were victims of similar incidents in 2024.

The Police have so far arrested 114 individuals in connection with these cases.
