Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Two Police Sergeants have been assigned to the security of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kalutara District Member of Parliament, Jagath Vithana.

This action was taken on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police, Priyantha Weerasooriya.

When questioned about the matter, the MP confirmed that two police officers were provided for his security starting yesterday.
