Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- Police Spokesperson and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) F.U. Wootler said that the Police have decided to grant relief to drivers due to the disruption in the issuance of vehicle revenue licences in all provinces, except the Western Province, caused by a technical fault in the Lanka Government Cloud (LGC) system.
The Police Spokesperson announced that the Police have been informed to provide necessary and reasonable relief to drivers when enforcing the law related to vehicle revenue licences until the LGC system is fully restored.
Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Police will grant concessions to drivers who have been delayed in obtaining their vehicle revenue licences in provinces other than the Western Province...
