Sri Lanka, July 25 -- A father and daughter sustained injuries after the motorcycle they were travelling on crashed in the middle of the road at the Polgasowita Rilawala junction this morning, according to the Kahathuduwa Police.

The incident occurred as the motorcycle was travelling from Colombo towards Horana and suddenly slipped, causing both individuals to suffer injuries and requiring hospitalisation.

Kahathuduwa Police mentioned that the two injured individuals were admitted to the Wetara Hospital.
