Sri Lanka, July 31 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya emphasized the need for a comprehensive dialogue on transforming Sri Lanka's current education system and its integration with Pirivena education.

The Prime Minister made this statement yesterday (30) while participating in a ceremony at the Ministry of Education, Isurupaya, Battaramulla, where appointment letters were presented to new Pirivena teachers.

Meanwhile, a discussion was also held yesterday between the Prime Minister and various stakeholders, including representatives from the Federation of University Teachers' Unions (FUTA), concerning the ongoing new education reforms.
