Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- A fire that broke out at an electronics store on First Cross Street in Pettah today (20) has been completely extinguished, according to the Fire Brigade.

It took more than three hours of intensive efforts to contain the blaze.

Fifteen fire trucks were deployed, with additional assistance later provided by a Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established, and investigations are under way.
