Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- The Sectoral Oversight Committee on Public Administration, Justice and Civil Security has focused on implementing several rapid measures to reduce prison overcrowding. These measures include expediting government analyst reports for suspects held on remand, directing individuals arrested for minor drug offenses to rehabilitation, and conducting court proceedings via remote technology.
