SriLanka, March 13 -- The parents' committee of a prominent international school in Kandy convened a special discussion today (13) to seek immediate justice for a student who died after being struck by a car belonging to the school's director.

The deputy principal of the school also participated in the meeting. A mother representing the committee stated that members will gather again tomorrow at 8:00 AM for further deliberations.

The director, who was taken into custody regarding the matter, is expected to be produced before the Kandy Magistrate's Court today.

Additionally, police confirmed that the post-mortem examination of the deceased child will take place today at the Kandy National Hospital.
